Or so some say, though I am not usually one of the some. In this case I am speaking of blogs, mine to be precise.
A while ago I built a website. I wanted a place for my short stories. I played around, had fun putting something together, but ultimately found myself dissatisfied.
Being used to the various features of both my blogs, I feel that a template based website is not the right format for what I want at this point in time.
So it’ll go the way of the Dodo.
I’m pulling the plug on it.
Instead I’ve started another blog purely dedicated to my creative writing. I took the name for it from the short story section of my website (it was good for something).
Wyrd Tales – the URL had to be a compromise with wyrdtalez.wordpress.com. The version spelled with “s” is taken. Someone apparently started a blog under that name five years ago and did nothing with it. That is slightly aggravating.
I may well get the domain name anyway. I’ll see how things go.
For now I fiddle with my new blog and upload the stories I had on my website, one a day, and then see about posting new ones in regular intervals.
