Speaking of reality

I decided to create my own page that I would use to direct potential clients to. As a freelancer, who’s officially earning money now, I need my own page. I have my blogs and I will keep all three of them, but I need something more professional.

And though it is certainly aimed at clients, a freelancing blog is included there as well. It is still very much me and I like to take the “what you see is what you get” approach. It will also be a place to link to when I am doing “cold calls” or in my case “cold emailing”, which is somewhat part of being a freelancer and marketing yourself.

I can’t wait for jobs to come to me, after all. And if I know where my services might be needed, I can try and offer them.

I’m going cheap for the time being, without selling out or for less than I am worth. I know there’s much to learn at every turn, but I’m not too bad either, so I can put a price tag on it.

Without further ado I present to you my wordsmithy at faberverborum.com, which means “smith of words” in Latin.

I’m planing to add German content to it, because that’s my native language and will hopefully get me jobs in my home country. That’s where I’ll be sending my “cold emails” to.

I don’t expect to get any clients via this blog post. I just wanted to put it out there, because this is my blog and it’s all about me, myself and I (as is the nature of most personal blogs) and I might as well, at least once, shamelessly market myself here.

Even if none of you need my services, you can still pass the URL on to somebody who might. I’d be much obliged.

And thank you for your indulgence.
